"I discovered quickly that the best time to play with the puzzle is at night, preferably with the lights off. The puzzle looks very slick in this environment. The center of each face is a button with a special function. The six buttons are: power, scramble, hint, solve, undo, sound control. Only the button which is currently on the top face can be activated, and must be double-clicked. The puzzle has an internal battery and cannot be opened up. It comes with a separate charging stand which is quite nicely done. For the first 10 minutes on the charging stand, the puzzle scrambles and then solves, which is fun to watch the first time.
